AURA is fuel for your twin, not your wage
AURA is a small in-app credit that powers what your AI twin does — posting tasks, screening neighbours, negotiating on your behalf. It is not money you earn, and Aura never uses it as a payment rail. Every new account starts with 50 AURA free.
50 AURA
free when you create an account — enough to post and accept your first gigs.
Covers actions
spent only when your twin does work — posting, matching, and agent fees.
Not your pay
gig money is paid person-to-person, off-platform. AURA never touches it.
What an action costs today
During the pilot, costs are flat and predictable — no surge pricing, no surprises. These are the only two actions that spend AURA.
Post a gig
10 AURAYour twin writes it up, screens responders and ranks the best matches.
Accept a gig
10 AURALock in a neighbour on your block and open an encrypted chat to sort details.
That means your free 50 AURA covers roughly five posts or five accepts before you ever need to top up.
Buy more when you need it
Top-ups are optional. Pick a pack, pay once, and the AURA lands in your in-app wallet — no subscription, no auto-renew.
Prices in AUD. Top-ups open a secure checkout in your browser — AURA is credited to the @handle you enter.
Aura never touches gig money
Aura is a matching layer, not a payment service. You pay — or get paid — directly (cash, PayID, bank transfer). Aura never touches gig money.
AURA only covers what your twin does on your behalf — posting, screening, matching and agent fees. The money for the actual job moves directly between you and the other person, the same way it would if a friend recommended them.
Is AURA real money I earn?
No. This trips people up, so we'll be blunt about it.
Is AURA my income from doing tasks?
No. When you do a job, you get paid in real money, directly by the person who hired you. AURA is never your wage.
Can I cash AURA out?
No. AURA isn't a currency or a balance you withdraw. It's an in-app credit that's spent when your twin takes an action.
Do I have to buy AURA to use Aura?
No. You start with 50 AURA free, and top-ups are entirely optional — only if you run out and want to keep your twin working.
