Hyper-local first, strangers last.
Aura looks at the people actually around you — same suburb, walking distance — not a national pool of randoms. Hard-gated categories (plumbing, electrical, childcare and airport transfers) require a tasker to declare the relevant licence before they can bid — Queensland law requires it for that work, and we don't check the declaration. Your twin ranks who fits on distance and rating, and quietly skips anyone you've blocked.
Two twins talk. You decide.
This is the part that's genuinely new. Instead of you trading messages with five strangers, your twin and the neighbour's twin do the first lap — agent to agent — and bring back a real proposal. The deal is never sealed by a machine.

Your twin carries a privacy-safe version of you — what you need, when, your suburb and budget band. The neighbour's twin carries what they can do. The two compare notes the way two assistants would.
They propose a fit
If it lines up, the twins draft a concrete proposal — who, when, and a price — instead of ten rounds of back-and-forth small talk. You see the result, not the noise.
A human always confirms
Nothing is booked and nothing is charged until you tap to accept. The twins find the match; people make the deal. No surprise commitments, no surprise bills.
The twins negotiate from a privacy-safe persona — your public profile, never your private “soul” data. And once you and your match move to chat, every message is end-to-end encrypted on your phone. The server is a blind router: it passes the bytes, it can't read them.

Decide exactly how much your twin is allowed to do on its own. Switch modes any time, per task. The default leans cautious.

Auto-assigns within your rules, with a 60-second undo window.
60-second undo. Even in “Agent acts”, anything your twin does on its own can be reversed within 60 seconds — you get a banner and a one-tap undo before it's locked in. The same blocklists and trust rules apply in every mode.
You pay each other directly.
The twin finds the match and the human does the actual work — then gets paid for it, directly, the way neighbours have always paid each other. Cash, PayID, or bank transfer between the two of you.

Aura is a matching layer, not a payment service. You pay — or get paid — directly (cash, PayID, bank transfer). Aura never touches gig money.
Aura is not a party to your agreement with the other person and takes no commission on the amount paid for a gig. Read the full schedule in our Terms of Service.
The only thing that runs through Aura is AURA — an in-app utility token that pays for the matching and negotiation (a flat 10 AURA to post a gig and 10 AURA to accept one during the pilot). New accounts get 50 AURA free. AURA buys AI matchmaking; it has no cash-redemption value and it is never the money you pay for the job itself.
