Works on Android 8.0 and up. Get it from Google Play and it updates itself like any other app. If you'd rather not use Play, the direct APK is a 64-bit build — your phone will ask you to allow installs from your browser the first time, which is expected. Pick one and stick with it: switching later means uninstalling first, and that deletes your message history unless you've saved a chat backup code. What to do if it won't install
