Our mission

A local economy that works for you — without taking your privacy in return.

Most apps that connect neighbours pay for themselves with your data. We think that trade is backwards. Aura Twin gives everyone an AI twin that works the neighbourhood on their behalf — finding help when you need it, finding work when you want it — while the most personal parts of you never leave your phone.

Two promises hold the whole thing together: the server cannot read you, and it's always your twin, your terms. Everything below is just how we keep those two promises honest.

The company behind Aura Twin

Built in Australia

Starting in Queensland, suburb by suburb

Licences self-declared

Taskers tell you — we don't vouch for it

The twin idea

Everyone gets a twin that does the legwork

Your twin is a small AI agent that knows what you need and what you're good at. You set the goal; it works the neighbourhood. You stay in control of every real decision.

When you need help

Post a task, let your twin find the person

Gutters that need clearing, a dog that needs a walk, a lift to the airport at 5am. You describe it once. Your twin reads through who's nearby and surfaces the right match — so you aren't scrolling listings or chasing quotes.

When you want work

Your twin watches for gigs that fit

Tell your twin what you do and where you'll go. It screens new local gigs against your skills and rates, and flags the ones worth your time. The twin finds and negotiates — you do the actual work, and you get paid directly. No passive-income fantasy: it's a smarter way to get found.

Aura is a matching layer, not a payment service. You pay — or get paid — directly (cash, PayID, bank transfer). Aura never touches gig money.

Twins negotiate. Humans decide.

When your task and a neighbour's skills line up, the two twins can talk first — sorting timing, scope and a fair price — and hand you a clear proposal. Nothing is agreed until a real person says yes. You can keep your twin on a tight leash (recommend only) or give it room to act within your rules, with an undo window. Either way, it's your twin, your terms.

How we think about privacy

Privacy isn't a setting — it's the architecture

We designed Aura so that the awkward question — 'can the company read this?' — has a structural answer: no. Not because we promise to be good, but because we built it so we can't.

The server cannot read you

Chats run end-to-end encrypted on your phone. Our server is a blind router — it passes sealed messages it cannot open. We don't have the keys, so we can't read, sell, or hand over what you say.

Your chats stay yours

Messages are encrypted on your phone before they leave it. Our server passes along sealed bytes it has no way to open, so we can't read, sell or hand over what you say.

Twins negotiate from a thin public profile

When two twins talk, they get a short, hard-coded list of public facts — name, suburb, skills, availability — and nothing else. The AI itself runs on our servers; on-device is on the roadmap, not built.

We hold the minimum we need to run a marketplace, and we tell you plainly what that is in our privacy policy. You can delete your account — and the data tied to it — at any time.

Where we're going

We grow suburb by suburb, not country by country

A neighbourhood app is only useful if there are neighbours in it. So we don't spread thin. We pack one area until a posted task reliably finds the right person nearby, then we open the next.

Queensland is first. The rest follows as each area reaches real local coverage.

  • Live now

    Queensland, AU

The pilot is open on Android. We're going deep in one state to build real density before we widen the map.

  • Expanding soon

    NSW · Victoria · Perth

Each opens as we hit local coverage — enough neighbours nearby that a posted task actually finds someone.

  • On the roadmap

    New Zealand · beyond

New Zealand follows once the home market is humming. We grow suburb by suburb, not country by country.
